Rather than settling for yet another novelty tie or pair of socks as a Father’s Day gift this year, why not treat Dad – and the rest of your family – to some quality time together in truly idyllic surroundings during the first ever National Gardens Festival Weekend?

Set to be the largest garden visiting event in history, with over 800 private garden openings to the public across England and Wales over Father’s Day weekend (15-16 June), the event is being organised by the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) and will provide the perfect opportunity to get outside and spend some time together as a family.

Supporting vital charities
With proceeds from garden admissions going to selected charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Parkinson’s UK and the Carers Trust, your family treat will be a gift that keeps on giving.

The NGS has donated £34million from garden openings over the past 12 years and is Macmillan’s biggest ever donor. The National Gardens Festival Weekend aims to raise a further £500,000 for nursing and caring charities.
