Due to the strong winds and heavy rain forecast for this Sunday (18th December), organisers have reluctantly decided to cancel Mountbatten’s festive-themed ‘Jingle All The Way’ event.
Mountbatten Chief Executive, Nigel Hartley, said,
“While we were looking forward to seeing everyone at this new Mountbatten fundraising event, the safety of participants, volunteers, staff, and suppliers is most important to us.
“We are sincerely sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. Anyone who wants a refund can contact our fundraising team.
“If people wish for us to treat the cost of their ticket as a donation, we would be extremely grateful, as, like most people and organisations, Mountbatten is facing challenges with the cost-of-living crisis.”
Refunds available
Participants can request a refund on their tickets by emailing [email protected].
Refund requests will be actioned in ten working days (Mountbatten’s fundraising office is open 08.30 – 16.30 Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays).
