Many thanks to forum user Saints for alerting us to a new photographic group which meets weekly in Newport.
They have just over twenty attendees of all different ages and abilities and Saints tells us that they pride themselves on having an open forum where everyone can exchange ideas and knowledge in an informal way.
Their open approach is reflected in the layout of the meeting room, with chairs laid out in a horseshoe, enabling all members to see each other and hear what’s going on.
The group is made up of a diverse range of photographers, so you could benefit from exchanging knowledge with potentially 20 other teachers.
We hear that all the members are polite and friendly and often humorous, but not over the top with heckling, so anyone new will feel right at home.
The group meets on Wednesday night at 7.30 pm (free the first time) at the Riverside Centre in Newport Quay. [Great image courtesy of Saints]
