RSPCA Isle of Wight is thrilled to announce the opening of its new charity shop located at 168 High Street, Ryde.
The new store has opened its doors to the public, with all money raised being used to support the charity’s Animal Centre near Rookley.
A wide offering
The shop features a wide variety of products, clothing, books, homeware and more, all generously donated by members of the community.
Every purchase made at the shop directly impacts RSPCA Isle of Wight’s services supporting animal rescue, providing veterinary care, rehabilitation and rehoming or release to the wild.
Backhouse: Affordable and sustainable shopping
Steve Backhouse, Branch Director of RSPCA Isle of Wight, said,
“We are excited to bring this new shop to Ryde.
“Our new Ryde shop offers affordable and sustainable shopping, and also serves as a hub for community involvement and support.
“We have an enthusiastic and welcoming team ready to greet you and help with any shopping needs.”
Three other shops on the Island
The Ryde store is the charity’s fourth on the Island, complementing existing charity shops in Newport, Sandown and Ventnor. RSPCA Isle of Wight is an independently registered charity with 95 per cent of its income raised on the Island through its shops, donations and legacies.
The new shop is designed to be a welcoming space for all members of the community. Volunteers and staff have worked tirelessly to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where shoppers can discover hidden treasures while contributing to a worthy cause.
