Newchurch Male Voice Choir will be packing their suitcases and heading off on tour to Cornwall on Saturday 23rd October.
We’ll be travelling by coach to our hotel in Lostwithiel, then on Sunday 24th will be performing at the Eden Project.
If you happen to be around, we’ll be in the Mediterranean Biome from 3pm until 4pm.
The following day (Monday 25th) we meet up with the Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir (from Callington Nr Liskeard) for a joint charity concert at the Methodist church in Fowey at 7.30pm for the RNLI.
The Tamar choir is 30 odd strong and was only formed six years ago and in that time have made a real impact in their area performing for charities by undertaking two/three concerts a month.
Whether Richard Stilgoe (who has a connection with the choir) has influenced matters, who knows?
