We were amazed at how many people went to the Nodehill Christmas Fair last Friday. The place was completely packed.
Parents and children moved from stall to stall buying and trying as they went.
The main hall had stalls piled high with goodies to buy for Christmas, as well as festive food to chomp on.
The gym had been given over to the pupils who had set up stalls with games on them of their own creation, with a wide selection available. Enthusiastic pupils were happy to show people how to play their games … and collect money from the player, with all money raised going to the school.
Talking to Mr Morris, Nodehill’s Headmaster, he told us that the event was always really well supported.
Sadly with the closure of the school hanging over it, this year’s Christmas fair will be Nodehill’s last.
If you went along to your local school Christmas fair, get in touch we’d like to hear about it.
