This is an open letter as you previously failed to respond to my 2018 letter about the Russian Report; and letters on other matters.
I’d like to see your clear support for the refugees from the Russian invasion, as well as recent warm words in Parliament.
Complex bureaucratic procedures
It is hypocritical and utterly outrageous that your party’s Home Secretary, and Ministers claim to support refugees while putting in complex bureaucratic approaches that have produced 50 [Risen to 300 since letter written. Ed] visas so far.
Visa free entry is entirely possible
They decide policy, and visa free entry is entirely possible.
The only excuse seems to be security and I know from personal professional knowledge that is simply false as there are ways of maintaining UK security while letting in refugees.
We look to you for immediate action.
