Free juggling lessons
Although his shows don’t begin until Friday, Darryl is on the Island from today (Wednesday) and you’ll find him in the Fringe Village Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons where he is offering free Learn to Juggle lessons.
As head of juggling at Circomedia, Bristol’s circus school for eight years, Darryl has figured out a technique where he can teach anyone to juggle in under 10mins! Find him in the Park and see whether he can teach you too!

The show is the result of a 15-year creative journey by the award-winning performer Darryl J Carrington.
Drawing from his wealth of experiences with international arena tour shows, touring circuses, and street festivals, ‘Out of the Box’ is truly a unique spectacle.
Furthermore, it resonates with Darryl’s personal experiences of neuro-diversity, guiding audiences through a celebration of our differences and similarities.
Its ultimate goal is to foster a common ground through playful engagement, aiming to break down the barriers that often separate us.

Out of the Box takes place on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July 2023 each day between 11am – 12pm.
The show takes place at The Big Top, Steephill Road (Flower Brook).
