Shift vehicle inspector Bob Chaplin is celebrating this week – after being named employee of the year by Isle of Wight bus operator Southern Vectis.
Bob, who is renowned for his excellent work ethic and easy going temperament, was presented with his award by managing director Andrew Wickham at the company’s annual ceremony.
Andrew said,
“Despite facing some challenging personal circumstances, Bob has worked tirelessly to help maintain the very high standards for which Southern Vectis is known.
“His work is always excellent and very professional – nothing is too much trouble. Bob is dedicated and well-liked by all his colleagues. He is an outstanding member of our team and an absolute pleasure to work with.
“I would like to congratulate Bob and wish him every success for the year ahead.”
In recognition of his efforts, Bob received £500 worth of vouchers and a framed certificate.
