The incredible Robert Mitchell in yet another incarnation!
Panacea are a unique band. They present a mix of original song, fierce improvisation, and no limit as being the only limit to musical possibility.
They have performed at North Sea Jazz Fest (Holland) and perform soon at Jazz A Vienne Festival (France). This is jazz at its best.
Since forming in 2002, Panacea has been gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting folk fusion bands to come out of the south west. They have enthused audiences at festivals such as GLASTONBURY, ASHTON COURT, TROWBRIDGE, BATH FRINGE, KINGSTON GREEN FAIR, SYNERGY and many smaller events – this year adding SIDMOUTH FOLK WEEK to their growing list.
They have played a variety of gigs both as headline and support to various artists such as SUSHEELA RAMAN, ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION, TRANS GLOBAL UNDERGROUND, CELLOMAN, BAGDADDIES.
The band released their self-produced album PANACEA in 2004, and are currently working on their next.
