Islanders taking part in the Paris to Newport Cycle for Sophie Rolf challenge set a good pace yesterday, when they set out from Paris during the rush hour.
As the pictures below sent from Paul Blackley show, there are plenty of smiling faces and the team make their way through France.
The riders are cycling approximately 160 miles, from Paris to Caen with hopes of arriving there tonight and returning to Portsmouth by ferry.
They will then cycle from Ryde to Sydenhams in Newport to cross the finishing line tomorrow.
