Having performed at the very first Ventnor Fringe Festival, Paul Armfield is delighted to be returning to the wonderful acoustics of St Catherine’s Church.
Now with seven albums worth of literary lovelorn songs under his belt, he returns to the stage to deliver an intimate rendition of some of his favourites.
High praise
With just a nylon-strung guitar, a saw, and “a voice that could make the needles crumble”, Paul has become a favourite of Mark Radcliffe who said of 2020’s album ‘Domestic’,
“I love this so much – sensitive, melodic, heartfelt, gentle, well-observed, beautifully sung.”
“Really beautiful.”
Guy Garvey
“As toasty and lovely as Christmas morning.”
Caitlin Moran
“Your album is the dogs.”
Chris Difford
This will be the final date in a string of UK performances this July, and the last before a month long European tour in November.
