Watch out for Paul Heaton on the road today between Yarmouth and Sandown, he’s cycling to The Tap in Sandown as part of his 50:50 tour.
Ex Housemartins and Beautiful South front man, Paul is celebrating his 50th birthday by getting back on his bicycle for his 50:50 tour.
He’ll be peddling 2500 miles – 50 miles for each year he’s been on the planet – and supporting local boozers with a string of extra special shows at pubs across the UK and Ireland.
Sold out gig at The Tap tonight
Tonight sees his performance at The Tap – however, if you haven’t got tickets already, don’t bother trying to get in as sadly the gig is now sold out.
Paul’s mammoth journey spans 40 days and take in 33 shows. Journeying from Salford in Greater Manchester, Heaton will travel through the Lake District to the North East, and up into the Highlands & Lowlands of Scotland.
The tour culminates in a jaunt across the South coast ending with a show at The Pelton Arms in Greenwich, London on 23rd June.
