Pennyfeathers and Flood Plan meetings today

Residents in Ryde are reminded of two meetings today that may be of interest.

Flood plans consultation
Any time between 3-7pm at the George Street Centre in Ryde, you can view details of the Ryde Flood Plan.

This Isle of Wight council organised consultation meeting brings together several organisations responsible for water management in Ryde and gives you the opportunity to comment on the report and discuss issues of flood risk in the town.

Pennyfeathers
This is followed by a meeting at Ryde Methodist Church, Garfield Road, Ryde starting at 6pm organised by Ryde Town Council to discuss the Pennyfeathers planning application for 900+ homes, school etc.

There will be a chance to hear from Glen Hepburn, the agent on behalf of developer, and hear the application being considered by the Ryde Planning Committee.

Their recommendations will be lodged with the Isle of Wight, who make the final decision on the application.
