As many of you will know, Peter Andre visited the Island last week to film for a part of his new television programme ‘Here To Help’.
He visited many locations including; the Ryde Inshore Rescue, the Bay Grill in Appley, Shanklin Inshore Rescue and the House of Legends.
On his tour of the Island, Peter dropped into the Enchanted Manor in Niton, where he became a chambermaid for the day. In return for his efforts (we hear he was very good), he was presented with a painting of the Enchanted Manor by Josephine Wall.
His daughter will be pleased, as we understand he’ll be putting the painting up on her bedroom wall.
“A lovely, genuine person”
Maggie Hilton, Owner of Enchanted Manor said, “He was fantastic and didn’t mind at all what he did and he was the best cleaner ever! We found him to be a really lovely, genuine person and so kind.”
Maggie joked, “We said if he wants a change of career he has the job, but somehow don’t think he will take up the offer.”
Peter Andre had a very positive effect on the Island during his few few days here. He helped out a great amount of people and we look forward to seeing the Island on ‘Here To Help’ when it airs on ITV2.
