Peter Bray, original founder member of Ventnor Heritage Centre, sadly passed away on 1st January 2012.
As a member of the Ventnor Historical Society, he and Mr Ernest Biggin raised money and awareness of the historical events and interest in Ventnor and gathered a huge collection of archive material to display in the Heritage Centre.
Author of many pamphlets
Peter also researched and wrote numerous pamphlets about the train line, the former TB Hospital (now the Ventnor Botanic Garden), the war effort and how this effected the town, plus many more.
