This Thursday sees the by-election for the Isle of Wight council Wootton seat take place.
The by-election follows the resignation of convicted rapist, Daryll Pitcher.
Photo ID will be required in order to vote in Wootton (find out more), as well as in the upcoming Ventnor Town Council by-election for the Ventnor East and Bonchurch ward.
Look out for your polling card
Ventnor Town Council has requested that Poll Cards be sent out to all registered voters.
These will carry vital information about the requirements for presenting ID at the polls.
Further information about the Voter ID requirements has also been provided by the Electoral Commission and can be found on their Website.
By-election date
The by-election for the Ventnor East and Bonchurch seat is set to take place on Thursday 14th September.
All registered voters are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the details provided and to cast their vote on the stated date, equipped with the required identification.
