We know that there are many budding photographers out there, amateurs and professionals alike who should be interested in this new competition being organised by a number of organisations.
To celebrate 25 years of Volunteers Week, why not take the opportunity to win a cash prize for the charity or organisation of your choice?
BBC South Today, Employee Volunteering, Solent Youth Action and Vinvolved, the 14 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Volunteer Centres joining forces to host the photographic competition with prizes totalling £1000.
The low down
We’re looking for innovative pictures, a certain smile, a look of relief, a team of heroes – the choice is yours!
Not only is there a great first prize of £500 on offer for the charity or organisation of your choice – there is also some fabulous publicity, with South Today’s Georgie Palmer agreeing to judge the competition and televise the winning entries on Thursday 4th June!
All the Isle of Wight entries will also be exhibited at a public event in Newport Minster on Saturday 6th June.
