Police are appealing for information about an attempted robbery in Cowes on Friday evening.
A 25-year-old man was walking along the cycle path in Northwood Skate Park around 9pm (March 20).
He was approached by a man who demanded he hand over his stuff.
The victim refused and the offender punched him in the face. The victim hit out at the offender who ran off towards Place Road.
The victim suffered a cut to his lip and right hand.
The offender is described as a white man wearing a hooded top.
