Police are investigating an overnight spate of vandalism to cars parked in Brading near Sandown on the Isle of Wight.
It’s estimated approximately 30 vehicles parked in New Road, The Mall and Wrax Road were damaged sometime between 6pm on Sunday, September 26 and 7am on Monday, September 27, 2010.
The damage included broken windscreens, side windows, and apparent key damage to the bodywork of cars.

East Wight Safer Neighbourhoods Inspector Bill Pinnell said: “Police are making enquiries in the local area to gather more information as swiftly as possible. This type of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. We believe that some motorists affected by this vandalism have not come forward to make a formal report to the police yet. I would urge people to contact us if their vehicle was damaged in Brading on Sunday night or if they noticed anybody acting suspiciously in the town at the weekend.”
