Changes To Wightlink FastCat Service Today/Tomorrow

Wightlink have just provided us with the following details about the changes to the FastCat service over today and tomorrow – Ed.

Further Updates on FastCat DisruptionPlease be advised that owing to a mechanical reasons the Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head Catamaran service is operating a revised service on 28 & 29 September as follows:

Tuesday 28 September
An hourly service will operate with departures at 15 mins past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour and 45 mins past the hour from Ryde Pier Head. This service will be operated by Wight Ryder II, up to 0015.

Additional sailings will be operated by a charter vessel at 1640; 1740; 1845 and 1945 from Portsmouth Harbour and at 1710; 1810 and 1910 from Ryde Pier Head – crossing time approx 30 mins

Wednesday 29 September
An hourly service will operate with departures at 15 mins past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour (from 0415) and 45 mins past the hour from Ryde Pier Head (from 0445). This service will be operated by Wight Ryder II, up to 0015.

Additional sailings will operated by a charter vessel at 0640; 0740; 0840; 0940; 1040; 1640; 1740; 1845 and 1945 from Portsmouth Harbour – crossing time approx 30 mins

Additional sailings will be operated by a charter vessel at 0610; 0710; 0810; 0910; 1010; 1110; 1710; 1810 and 1910 from Ryde Pier – crossing time approx 30 mins
