Police are continuing to investigate an allegation of an unprovoked assault in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
A 21-year-old man from Ryde, Isle of Wight told police he was assaulted by a man he did not know at the number nine bus stop in Newport Bus Station at 2am on Thursday, October 21, 2010.
The victim received treatment in hospital for injuries to his head and face.
Description of suspect
The suspect was described as:

â— Aged in his early 20s
â— Medium build
â— 5 ft 8 to 5 ft 9 ins tall
â— Clean shaven
â— Shaved hair
He was wearing
â— A dark coloured coat
â— A grey or white sweatshirt with a logo across the chest.
