Description of suspect
The man is described as approx 5ft 6ins tall, medium build and wearing dark clothing.
DC Gillian Harvey said:
“This is a rare occurrence on the Island at a time when not many people would have been around.
“While the exact circumstances are investigated, police are asking the public to remain alert, but not alarmed.
“When out on your own, don’t be tempted to take short cuts through parks, alleys or subways. Stick to well-lit, busy streets.
“Don’t walk home on your own late at night. Walk with a friend, book a taxi or use public transport, and to report any suspicious incidents or persons to us as soon as possible.
“We will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area to reassure local residents.”
