Police are now in a position to confirm the name of the man who died following a collision near Newport last month.
Alistair Carter, 61, of High Street, Ventnor, died in hospital after the collision, which happened on 24th February 2022.
His next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers.
Collision with Range Rover
We were called to reports of a collision involving a white Range Rover and a pedestrian at around 10.45pm.
Mr Carter was the pedestrian and sadly died of his injuries.
