Police seek information on man after indecent act near Rylstone Gardens

Isle of Wight police are appealing for witnesses to an exposure incident which occurred in Shanklin.

It was reported to police that at around 12.30pm on Wednesday 31st July, a man was seen committing an indecent act on a slope heading down to Rylstone Gardens, just beyond the public toilets.

We believe there were other members of the public, including families, present at the time who may have witnessed something.

Description of man
The man was described as:

  • Aged in his mid 60s
  • 6ft 2ins tall
  • Boney thin face
  • Wearing a blue cap, sunglasses and a blue T-shirt

Police have been conducting other enquiries and are now in a position where we would like to hear from the wider public who may either have witnessed this incident, or know who this man is.

Not connected to Freshwater case
