An exhibition that was the result of a nagging daughter started this week at Ryde Library.
Brian Williams LRPS, says that his exhibition, Portraits From The Pavement, nearly didn’t happen and it was only through his daughter, Debbie, constantly nagging him to show his work, that he finally decided to pull together the collection for exhibition.
Having seen some of his shots already, we’re glad that Debbie kept up that nagging and we hope to go along to Ryde Library within the next couple of weeks to see the exhibition in person.
The collection is made up of shots taken at many local events such as Bestival, Ryde and Ventnor Carnivals (which this pearly queen is from), Ryde Carnival, Ryde Arts Festival, the Wolverton Garden Show, Walk the Wight, Wight Air, St Helen’s Sports and Carnival and even the London Underground and a Chelsea versus Spurs match.
It’s free to get in and operates at the same opening times as the library (call 01983 885172 for details).
