On Tuesday 8th March 2022, in light of the very grave news from the Ukraine, Priory School’s Head of History, Dr Thompson, gave a most informative and helpful talk, complete with maps and slides, to all pupils from Year 5 upwards.
Over 200 bags donated
Following on from this, an appeal for donations for refugees from Year 4 teacher, Mrs Nicholson, was met with the most extraordinary response by parents, teachers and pupil – over 200 bags were donated within 48 hours.
Mufti day in blue and yellow
In an email to parents, Mr Matyjaszek said,
“We have no words for your generosity.
“There will be a mufti day–colours blue and yellow of course – to raise funds on Friday March 11th!”
