Public’s help requested in identifying suspect of indecent exposure on Isle of Wight

We’re investigating an indecent exposure which took place at Tennyson Down.

At around 8.30am yesterday (Tuesday 30th July), a woman in her 20s was walking along a footpath at Tennyson Down in the direction of Green Lane, when a man ran past her.

The woman then noticed the man come to a stop further down the path where he exposed himself and committed an indecent act whilst looking in the woman’s direction.

The man then walked off along a path heading towards the chalk pit.

Description of man
He is described as:

  • White with a pale complexion
  • Slim
  • Aged in his 20s
  • Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
  • Short mousy brown hair
  • Wearing dark blue shorts and a green Nike T-shirt which had a Nike tick logo on the right hand side of the chest.

Officers have been conducting enquiries, and are keen to hear from anyone with information that can assist us.
