Quay Arts ends summer on a high with a trio of fine comedy to blow your socks off.
The lineup includes Joe Wilkinson (pictured), a natural comic whose scathing one-liners marry perfectly with Alistair Barrie who has forged a reputation for himself as one of the top comperes to emerge in recent years.
His deceptively friendly and engaging stage presence masks a sharp, dry wit which can be turned to subjects as diverse as suicide bombers in the Middle East to the perils of flying EasyJet.
Despite a fondness for topical material, his performance is certain to be slightly peppered with some inspired silliness and a little audience related improvisation. They are joined by
Richard Morton who has built up a formidable reputation as a live stand up, having completed several UK tours with Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phill Jupitus.
Also a big favourite at the Edinburgh Festival Richard has completed several sell-out runs at the Assembly Rooms. These three are stellar performers and sure to make you forget all your troubles in an instant.
