ENL champions Wightlink Raiders will return to training this week after a well deserved week off after clinching the league title.
Jeremy Cornish’s team still have another weekend off to look forward to before the end of season championship play offs get underway on 9th April.
The Raiders still don’t know who they’ll face in the quarter final with three teams Oxford, Milton Keynes and Bracknell all vying for the last two play off places.
Will they play Milton Keynes or Bracknell?
Their opponents will be whoever finishes in 8th place in the league. Milton Keynes currently occupy that position although Bracknell have a game in hand and are just a point behind.
If the Raiders win their two legged quarter final tie they would then meet the winners of the 4th versus 5th quarter final which looks set to be between Invicta Dynamos and Streatham Redskins.
Details of the quarter final will be released as soon as the opponents are confirmed after next Sunday’s fixtures are completed.
