You should hear the noise of the waves on the beach at Linstone Chine and Hurst Castle is taking a battering. Not nice at all. Sounds daft but I always worry for the birds that are nesting now. This sort of wind must give the nests a hammering. Rook colonies etc.Jacky Scott
