There’s been some disruption on Red Funnel’s RedJet today.
It seems that it’s not just the Hovercraft and Wightlink Catamaran that are having problems.
We understand that the 09.45 & 10.45 from Southampton and 10.15 & 11.15 from West Cowes were cancelled.
Red Funnel say the cancellations are due to “due to steering problems with RJ4”. One VB reader got in touch to say, “RedJet crashed into pontoon, steering failed”.
Another, Ian Ferguson, said on Twitter, “Red Jet 4 can’t dock. It’s thrusting back and fore like an overexcited virgin not sure where to put it. #redfail”
Red Funnel say that the normal timetable will resume at 11:45 from Southampton.
