If you’re a fan of live music and enjoy being part of something that helps others, you’ll love the Rock the Cowes Bars event this coming weekend.
Organisers are promising a full weekend of “Cowes madness” in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support, starting Thursday 21st August and featuring bands and musicians from around the Island.
The action continues each day with bands playing several of the venues in the town and culminating on Sunday, when the event will incorporate the 35th Pram Race (which starts at 11.30am for those of you wanting to catch the action).
