If you haven’t already seen the listings on Events on the Wight or the posters and flyers around the Isle of Wight, you probably weren’t aware that this week sees the return of the Ryde Arts Festival .
Now in it’s 10th year, every day this week you can enjoy a number of free events in the largest mixed arts event to take place on the Island.
There are installations, exhibitions, talks, live music and even a tea party and launch of a postcard museum.
We’d highly recommend you go along to as many events as possible. We spent the afternoon in Ryde yesterday checking out the evolving Homegrown II installation in the basement of the The Depozitory, Tim Johnson’s fantastic work on the top floor, the Churchyard installation at St Thomas’ Church and a quick tour of the church.
As always, don’t forget to mention that you saw the event details on VB.
