Inside Ryde's new public toilets

Ryde Interchange welcomes new public toilets with modern amenities

Ryde Town Council are delighted to announce that the new public toilets, located at Ryde Interchange are now open.

This follows the successful finalisation of all necessary legal work, marking a significant enhancement to our community’s public facilities.

Designed with modern standards
The new facilities have been designed with modern standards of hygiene, accessibility, and sustainability in mind.

Equipped with touchless fixtures and accessible stalls, the new public toilets are aimed at providing comfort and convenience for all residents and visitors.

The facilities will be open from 6am -7pm daily.

Dyer: The legal work has taken some time to complete
Ryde Town Clerk, Lisa Dyer, commented,

“Frustratingly, due to the complex nature of the lease arrangement, the legal work has taken some time to complete.

“We are really pleased to have been able to get these facilities open.

“With the Isle of Wight Festival and summer holidays fast approaching it is vital these facilities are available for residents and visitors alike.”
