Isle of Wight Council has confirmed details of the by-election to fill the currently vacant Ryde South seat.
It will be contested by four candidates with voting taking place between 7am and 10pm on Thursday 27 May.
The candidates are:
Deborah Gardiner – Labour Party
Ian Jenkins – Independent
Gary Taylor – Conservative
Tony Zeid – Liberal Democrat
Counting of the votes will take place the following day on Friday 28 May and the successful candidate announced the same day.
