Sandown man admits child sex offences

A man from Sandown remains in custody after admitting child sex abuse offences.

As well as admitting engaging in sexual communication with a child, 45-year-old Paul Elvins also admitted arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.

The offences took place between 26th September 26 and 2nd November 2021.

Elvins, who has been placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register, will receive his sentence at the Crown Court in February 2022 and will remain in custody.

No application was made for bail.
