Fundraising events for the Save the Rivoli Cinema continue next month, this time with a screening and talk.
The Isle of Wight Film Festival will be presenting an evening with Melvyn Hayes at Bembridge Village Hall, with a screening of the iconic 1961 film The Young Ones.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Melvyn, now a Ryde resident, who starred in the film (after having to bleach his hair blond for the job).
The evening’s proceeds go towards the Rivoli Cinema fundraiser.
Takes place on 8th December at 7pm. Doors open at 7pm with the event starting at 8pm.
