Members of several unions will be taking industrial action across the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Thursday) over pay, pensions and workloads.
Last October the NUT claimed that a survey of teaching staff on the Isle of Wight found that 68% of teachers considering leaving teaching or moving off the Island.
So it’s little surprise to see that many of the Island’s schools will be closed or partially closed tomorrow.
A rally is taking place outside County Hall from 11am where members of the IW branch of NUT will be joined by Unite, Unison and PCS colleagues.
Find out which schools are affected
The spreadsheet below, which will also be updated live on the day, shows whether schools are ‘due to open’, confirmed as ‘Open’, ‘partially closed’ (eg. only certain year groups may be affected) or closed.
Use the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to move between Primary, Secondary and Special schools.
