Less than an hour ago, OnTheWight broke the story that the head teacher, who everyone on the Isle of Wight understood was still the Principal of Sandown Bay Academy, was in fact at a school in Kent.
We’ve been informed by AET this afternoon that they had not been informed by the head teacher of her new role,
A spokesperson for AET said,
“I can confirm that we have not been informed by head teacher nor her representative that she is working in another school, but in contacting the named Academy it is correct.”
A statement from AET is expected shortly.
