The Bus Shed at the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum was filled with the sounds of the Newchurch Male Voice Choir and their guests, the Sea Gels Shanty Band on Sunday 25th August.
The acoustics of the Shed are superb, especially when the Choir sang the songs ‘Sweet & Low, ‘Going Home’ and ‘All Through the Night’ acapello .
The mixture of the music/songs/shanties made for a pleasent and pleasing afternoons entertainment.
Bob Cooper said,
“It was a pleasure for the Choir to be with the Sea Gels in another concert and again to be supporting the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum.
“To be singing in this hidden gem of a place and the way the sounds are enhanced makes it even more enjoyable for us performing.
“We look forward to returning next year.”
Proceeds from the concert all go to the Museum to help them provide the varied and interesting history, and collection, of Bus/Coaches of old.
