Shape the future of the south east’s transport by participating in TfSE survey

Transport for the South East (TfSE), the Sub-national Transport Body for the south east of England, is reminding people that time is running out to take part in their ‘Your Voices’ survey about the future transport needs of the Isle of Wight.

With the closing date of Sunday, 2nd June 2024 looming, TfSE is keen to hear from as many people as possible to ensure all views are heard.

The online survey asks questions about transport-related issues such as accessibility and affordability. Other questions cover issues such as congestion, noise pollution, air quality, road safety, public transport, personal safety, and walking and cycling.

The ‘Your Voices’ survey can be found on the website.

The South East
The south east is defined as Bracknell Forest, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough, West Berkshire, Wokingham, Kent, Medway, Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton, Isle of Wight, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton & Hove.

Transport for the South East
The ‘Your Voices’ survey is part of TfSE’s activity to refresh its Transport Strategy.

The original strategy was created in 2020 and provided the evidence that underpins TfSE’s Strategic Investment Plan (SIP). Since the strategy’s creation four years ago, there have been considerable financial and societal changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing effects of Britain leaving the EU.

As part of the refresh activity, TfSE is undertaking significant engagement activity under the banner of ‘Your Voices.’ This exercise will see members of the public and representatives from communities, interest groups, businesses and organisations share their views on the future transport needs of the region.
