In a notable departure from tradition, the Shorwell Midsummer Fair will be changing its venue for the first time in its 60-year history.
This much-cherished annual event will be making a move from its long-standing home at Northcourt Manor to a new location at Wolverton Manor.
This transition has been made possible thanks to Jane and Mark Patterson. They have graciously allowed the event to continue its long-standing tradition at their property, ensuring that the spectacle the local community has come to know and love will endure.
A tribute to past generosity
The committee extends its heartfelt thanks to Christine and John Harrison. Their contribution has been integral to the success of the Fair at Northcourt Manor over the years.
Their support, generosity and hard work have left an indelible mark on the fair’s history and will never be forgotten.
Continuing the community spirit
Despite the shift in venue, the mission of the Shorwell Midsummer Fair remains the same. The fair will continue to raise as much money as possible, with all proceeds being donated to organisations in and around the local community.
It is this commitment to local causes that has made the event such a beloved fixture in the community calendar.
Looking forward to a new chapter
This year’s Fair is set to take place on Saturday 24th June 2023, running from 1.30pm to 5pm. The committee looks forward to welcoming both returning and new visitors alike.
Their support is crucial for the success of the next adventure of this great local event at its new home in Wolverton Manor.
