The Shrewsbury Police Male Voice Choir are visiting the Isle of Wight for the third time to join up again with the Newchurch (MVC) for a joint concert on Saturday 11th May at St Saviour’s on the Cliff Church, Shanklin starting at 7.30pm.
The Shrewsbury Choir (made up of ex-police and public members) were last here some seven years ago.
At short notice Ashleigh Mackness (Sound of Music etc) and Andrew Woodford have agreed to be our guest act.
Raising funds for charity
Proceeds from the retiring collection will go to the charity ‘Befriending Service for Action on Hearing Loss’ (RNID), the charity Newchurch (MVC) are supporting for 2013.
The Shrewsbury Police Male Voice Choir are also singing on Sunday 12 May at 2.30pm at Newport Methodist Church, Quay Street, Newport. They are a choir of some 45 singers.
