Next week Trinity Theatre in Cowes presents Silly Cow by Ben Elton.
The play was originally written for Dawn French and is probably not one for the very young as it contains quite a bit of adult humour.
The story is about Doris Wallace, bitchy queen of the tabloid press, is on the verge of a glorious venture in TV.
She’s not going to let anything get in her way, not even the “silly cow” suing her for libel.
Any skeletons she may have in her cupboard are, like her bondage gear, firmly locked up – or so she thinks.
Performances take place at 7.30 each night on Thursday 29, Friday 30th, Saturday 31st May and then again on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and finishing on 8th June.
Tickets are £6 for adult and under 16s £5. There’s a special officer of 3 for 2 on the first night.
Call the box office on 295229 between 11am-2pm Monday to Saturday.
