Update: Unfortunately this gig has been postponed again – we’ll ket you know when we hear more.
Anyone of a certain age will have the memories flooding back with any mention of Back to Life or Keep on Movin’, two classic hits from the late 80s, early 90s.
Hailing from London in the early 80s, they started out as a soundsystem playing records at parties and youth centres, and by the late eighties had firmly established themselves on the dance scene.
After playing at Bestival 2007, we’re sure that they will’ve attracted loads of new fans, so the gig planned for Ryde Theatre in February should be full to capacity with music lovers of all ages.
2008 is a leap year and Soul II Soul have been booked to grace the stage on that very special day, yes folks, the 29th February.
Perhaps some of their soulful love songs will inspire young beauties to take a chance and ask for their beau’s hand in marriage?
If you didn’t experience the music when it first came out, you might’ve noticed the video for Keep on Movin’ on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas!
Tickets will be £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
