Soul Supper pairs gentle yoga with a set vegetarian menu

Soul Supper:Pratyahara is a women-only intimate evening of yoga and food designed to guide you back home to yourself.

Taking place on 13th November 2026 at Whitwell Village Hall, an evening of inclusive yoga, reflective words and an intentional food experience – a gentle way to ease into the winter months.

Organisers say,

“As the days grow darker and nature turns inward, November invites us to quiet external distractions, rest, and embrace the art of ‘wintering’.

“This Soul Supper is grounded in the concept of Pratyahara – the fifth limb of yoga representing the withdrawal of the senses.”

What happens on the night
Rosie leads the yoga, which starts with grounding postures such as Balasana, known as Child’s Pose, and Malasana, or Garland Pose.

The postures also include Sukhasana, or Easy Pose, and the session ends with an extended Savasana.

Local poet Sarah Nicole introduces the meal with poetry and reflection.

Cara curates and cooks the three-course vegetarian menu, which takes its cue from late-autumn produce and from a season when the natural world slows down, turns inward and puts its energy back into the earth.

Non-alcoholic botanicals and other drinks will be served throughout the evening.

Practical details
The evening runs from 6pm to about 10pm, and the organisers say they will let it unfold naturally.

Guests need loose, comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement, and a warm blanket and a cushion for the long Savasana.

The set menu means the organisers cannot cater for dietary requirements.

Places have been kept limited on purpose, to make the evening personal and quiet.

Tickets cost £45 a head, before a booking fee. Book your place via EventBrite.
