If you follow the regional news programmes on TV, you would have heard about the tragic case of a body being found on Southsea beach at the beginning of last week.
The shocking discovery was made by foreign students visiting the area. Near the end of the week detectives confirmed that the body was David Matthew Guy, aged 30, of no fixed abode. It’s believed that David had been living in the Southsea area.
This morning a VB reader got in touch to let readers know that David had previously been a resident in Wroxall, where his family ran the Newsagents before it was sold in the 1990s.
Our sincere condolences go out to David’s family and friends at this devastating time.
