The Catering Service at St Mary’s Hospital has been awarded five stars for food hygiene following an unannounced food hygiene inspection by Environmental Health Inspectors from the Isle of Wight council.
The Full Circle Restaurant has recently had a full makeover and now diners can enjoy comfortable seating areas, both inside and outside and a brand new daily menu including hot food, a salad bar and sandwiches as well as delicious desserts and is open to members of the public as well as patients and staff.
Inspectors looked at the handling of food for patients, visitors and staff including how food is prepared and stored, the cleanliness of the facilities and how food safety is managed at St Mary’s Hospital. All areas of the inspection met the highest standard of food hygiene.
