Another item for next month’s Cabinet meeting will be the ‘Stag Lane Renewable Energy Site’.
Readers will remember that in April 2011, the council agreed to extend the preferred bidder status for Real Ventures Ltd by 15 months.
Further ground tests
We were told at the time that the extension was to allow further ground tests, which were required on the site before the Environment Agency would support the development.
Next month, the Cabinet will consider the “Extension of Preferred Bidder Status Timescale”. More info will be released a week or so before the meeting.
As VB revealed last week, Real Ventures Ltd have just received approval for their biomass plant in Lincolnshire.
